Size guide

Choosing the right belt size is easier than it seems. Below you'll find a practical guide to correctly measuring your waist, interpreting sizes, and always making the right choice.

1. What does a belt size mean?

A belt's size indicates the distance between the buckle and the center hole. It is not the total length of the belt, but the actual measurement of its fit.

2. How to measure a belt

Lay your current belt on a flat surface and measure from the inside edge of the buckle to the hole you normally wear. This distance, in centimeters, corresponds to your size.

3. How to measure your waist or hips

Use a tape measure and measure over the garment where the belt will be worn (pants, skirt, or dress). Don't pull the tape tight; it should be snug but comfortable. Take your measurement in centimeters.

4. Quick rule to choose your size

If your waist measures, for example, 93 cm, choose a size 95 cm belt. As a general rule, always select the next size up from your actual measurement.

6. Quick size guide

  • S: 80–85 cm
  • M: 90–95 cm
  • L: 100–105 cm
  • XL: 110–115 cm

7. Useful tips

  • If you are between two sizes, always choose the larger one: a long belt can be easily shortened.
  • Braided or elastic belts offer more flexibility in fit.
  • Avoid measuring the belt from end to end: this measurement does not correspond to the actual size.

8. Settings and customization

Leather belts can be shortened at the buckle end. If you wish to adjust it, have it done at a workshop or leatherworker to maintain a clean finish.
